What is coat check software?+
Coat check software replaces paper cloakroom tickets with a digital record: a number for each item, a ticket for the guest and a record of who collected it. vFound Checkroom adds a photo of each item and a QR ticket on the guest’s phone.

Is this a coat check app or a ticket system?+
Both, with nothing to install: it is a coat check app for guests that runs in the browser, on top of a numbered ticket system. Guests get their ticket as a private page on their phone by scanning the QR code on your screen, checking in on their phone or a paired counter kiosk, or by email, then ask for their things and show it to collect. If you also want paper, print paired hanger tags and thermal ticket stubs, with the ticket QR only on the stub the guest keeps.
Can we charge for the checkroom?+
Yes. Charge nothing, record cash, or take payment through your own external POS or card terminal and record it at the desk. vFound does not process or hold guest payments.
Does vFound Checkroom use AI?+
Yes, while your venue’s AI switch is on. At closing, vFound AI writes a short end-of-night summary in plain words, with every number taken from your records. When a guest has lost their ticket, staff can describe the coat and vFound AI compares the description with that night’s item photos; staff still check who the guest is before handing anything back. Checkroom works without AI too.
What special equipment do we need?+
Any phone, tablet or computer is enough. A printer is optional: vFound makes paired hanger tags, thermal ticket stubs and luggage bag tags for a browser-connected printer.
