How we measure
- Every five minutes our own server loads pages of the live site and reads its own records: waiting background work, failed tasks, the outgoing email queue, the last run of each reminder job, Stripe payment updates, webhook deliveries and the AI service. A feature is Down when a check finds it not working, for example a page that does not load or background work waiting more than 15 minutes, and Degraded when part of it is slow or failing.
- “Follows” means we have no separate check for that feature yet, so it shows the state of the feature it runs on. It is not a separate measurement.
- Uptime is the share of five-minute checks in which a feature was not Down; times with no check are left out. Not measured means no check has reported for 15 minutes.
- These checks run on the same server as vFound, so they stop if that server stops. A separate check from GitHub loads the site from outside several times a day and alerts us when it does not answer; its results are not shown on this page.
- Each strip shows one day per bar, oldest on the left. Point at a bar, or tap it, to read that day’s record under the strip.
- All times are in UTC.
