FOR STADIUMS & ARENAS

50,000 people went home. Some of their things stayed.

Stadium lost and found software turns the post-event sweep into a photographed, searchable catalogue fans can check from home — instead of a switchboard of Monday-morning calls describing black jackets.

With vFound, stewards photograph items as they are collected, the catalogue goes up on your venue’s own branded page, and fans recognize their belongings by sight and file a verified claim from their phone.

The match-day problem

Every event ends the same way: a sweep of the bowl, the concourses and the hospitality areas produces bags of phones, keys, jackets, water bottles and children’s toys. On Monday the calls start, and every caller describes the same jacket. Staff walk to the storage room, hold items up to a phone description, and guess.

The volume is the killer. A description-based system that copes with five items a day collapses at two hundred a night. Photos scale; phone calls do not.

How vFound handles event volume

Collection teams photograph and log items on their phones as the sweep happens — a photo, a category, the block or gate where it was found, and the storage bin it went into. There is no per-seat licence and no hardware: any phone with a browser is a logging station.

  • Fans browse the photo catalogue from home instead of calling — the page is on your own venue address, printable as QR signage at gates and guest services.
  • Claims arrive with private identifying details, so your team verifies ownership before anyone travels back to the venue.
  • Pickup windows or shipment are agreed in the claim conversation, and every return is recorded with staff attribution.
  • Unclaimed items age against your holding policy, with expiring items surfaced so disposal or donation is deliberate, not accidental.

Multi-event, multi-team, one record

Because items are logged with dates and locations, a fan who lost something at last week’s concert searches last week’s items — not this week’s match. Team members have individual logins, so a claim accepted by the events crew and collected via the box office still reads as one clean history. The workspace shows what needs review, what is ready for pickup, and what expires soon, at a glance.

Frequently asked questions

Can we log items fast enough during a post-event sweep?+

Logging an item is a photo plus a few taps on a phone — most teams log an item in well under a minute. Multiple stewards can log simultaneously from their own phones with their own accounts.

How do fans know where to look?+

Your venue gets its own vFound address and a printable QR sign. Venues typically link it from the stadium website, post-event emails and social replies, so “did anyone find my jacket?” gets a link instead of a hold queue.

How do we stop someone claiming a phone that isn’t theirs?+

Claims require private identifying details — the lock screen, the case, the contents of a bag — which your team compares against the item and any staff-only photos before accepting. Accepting one claim automatically declines competing claims on the same item.

What happens to unclaimed items?+

Every item carries a holding period based on your policy. vFound surfaces expiring items in the workspace, and expired inventory is moved out with an audit trail — donation, disposal or retention, on the record.

Does it work for arenas, theatres and concert halls too?+

Yes. The workflow is the same wherever crowds and seats meet: photograph, publish, verify, return. Venues of any size run on the same plans, priced per location.
