How numbered coat check tags work
Each tag has two halves with the same number. One half hangs with the coat and the other goes to the guest. At collection, the guest shows their half and staff match the number. Print on card if you can, cut along the dashed lines and punch the circle for the hanger.
When paper tickets stop working
Paper stubs get lost, coats look alike and the closing-time queue is where a good night ends badly. A photo of each item and a ticket on the guest’s phone make the hand-back faster.

What paper should I use?+
Card stock holds up best on a hanger. Any A4 or Letter paper works for a single night.
