Switching from Sign In App to vFound Visitors

Your staff list becomes the hosts visitors can name in vFound. Sign In App keeps your visit history, so export a copy of it before you leave.

1. Export from Sign In App

Sign In App’s help pages record that members can be exported, but they do not publish the steps. If you cannot find the export under Manage, Groups, ask Sign In App support for your members as a CSV file.Source
Its own import template names the columns Full name, Role, Email and Phone number. vFound reads the Full name and Email columns by name.Source

In vFound, open People and choose More, then Import a CSV file. The same people list serves Parcels, Visitors and Equipment.
vFound finds the columns by name in any order: a full name, or first and last name columns, plus email, room (or apartment, unit or department) and ID. Commas, semicolons and tabs all work.
Check the count and the first name vFound shows, then choose Import. Someone already on the list with the same email is updated, not added twice. Up to 5,000 people go in at a time.

Can I import my Sign In App history into vFound?+

No. vFound imports your people, not past visits. Keep the CSV that Sign In App exports from Reports, History.

Does vFound need an iPad at the entrance?+

No. Visitors can sign in on their own phone from your QR sign, or on any tablet paired to vFound in the browser.
