Switching from Parcel Tracker to vFound Parcels

Your recipients list is what vFound needs. Parcel Tracker lets owners and admins export it, and keeps a separate export of your parcel history.

1. Export from Parcel Tracker

In Parcel Tracker, open the Recipients tab and choose Export. Parcel Tracker says only owner and admin users can do this.Source
If the file opens as a spreadsheet, save it as CSV first. Excel’s comma or semicolon CSV both work.

In vFound, open People and choose More, then Import a CSV file. The same people list serves Parcels, Visitors and Equipment.
vFound finds the columns by name in any order: a full name, or first and last name columns, plus email, room (or apartment, unit or department) and ID. Commas, semicolons and tabs all work.
Check the count and the first name vFound shows, then choose Import. Someone already on the list with the same email is updated, not added twice. Up to 5,000 people go in at a time.
Parcel Tracker’s own import layout uses First Name, Last Name, Email, Location/Room Number and ID. vFound joins the two name columns and reads the room and ID.Source

Your parcel history. Parcel Tracker exports it from Parcels (or Inbound), Export, Export all Parcels as an .xlsx file.
Parcels still waiting on the day you switch. Hand them out from Parcel Tracker, or log them again in vFound so each person gets a new pickup code.

Can I bring my Parcel Tracker history into vFound?+

No. vFound imports your recipients, not past parcels. Keep the .xlsx file Parcel Tracker exports for your records.

Do first and last names need to be joined first?+

No. vFound joins First Name and Last Name columns on its own.
